Funding cuts of 4% a year for 3 years will mean 7,500 fewer nurses, 1,800fewer PSW’s and 2,500 bed cuts. Hospitals have been told to budget for increases of 2% a year for the next 3 years, but their costs are rising by 6%. Notice to Members The new wage rates recently bargained between the OHA and OCHU, will take effect on January 5th and will be reflected in your January 22nd pay . New wage grids can be found attached below. Retroactive pay will be issued on March 5th . Wages will be retroactive to September 29 2025.
