Solidarity in Healthcare: Join ONA’s Rally for Nurse-to-Patient Ratios

As CUPE members we know that when one union fights for better working conditions, we all benefit. That’s why we’re standing with the Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA) in their rally to demand enforceable nurse-to-patient ratios.
Chronic understaffing is pushing healthcare workers to the brink. Unsafe nurse-to-patient ratios lead to burnout, increased errors, and worse outcomes for patients. When nurses have the support they need, the entire healthcare system—workers and patients alike—functions better.
As CUPE members, we understand the power of collective action. When nurses win fair ratios, it sets a precedent for all healthcare workers fighting for better staffing, wages, and working conditions. Their fight is our fight.
Join ONA’s rally and show that solidarity makes us stronger. Because when we lift up one union, we lift up us all.
