Local 815 T-Shirt Fridays

Updated: 5 days ago

Starting November 15, and every Friday after that, as you walk into the hospital for your day shift, members of your bargaining team will hand you a red shirt to wear.

It is crucial for the solidarity and strength of our union that all members come together in a visible display of support for the bargaining committee. Wearing a red shirt not only symbolizes solidarity but also sends a powerful message to management that we are united in our efforts to secure a fair and negotiated collective agreement. By showing a strong and unified front, we increase our leverage and bargaining power, emphasizing the importance of reaching a mutually beneficial agreement. Your participation in this show of solidarity is not only a statement of support but also a vital contribution to the overall success of our negotiations. Let's stand together, wear red, and show management that we are a united workforce.

Your right as a Union Member wearing a union sponsored t-shirt is protected. If a manager or supervisor asks you to remove your shirt, please do so, but also send an email to ksmith@cupe815.org. We will grieve each and every one of these occurrences.

In Solidarity,

Local 815 Bargaining Committee

Local 815 Executive
